His winemaker’s soul and his conqueror’s heart come from Spain. His great-grandfather grew the vine in San Martín de Valdeiglesias, in the Community of Madrid. Born inBordeaux, he grew up in the softness of the Charente. From his Spanish father and his mother from Picardy he inherited the courage and sense of commitment, as well as a constant positive energy.
As a young man, he embarked on a career as a soccer player before putting his fighting spirit at the service of his father’s craft business, which he continued to prosper beforeselling him in 2010.It was then that he finally chose the wine, sealing his destiny and that of his family in the Château de Rouillac, which in just 10 years he became a jewel of the Pessac-Leognan denomination.
